Refunds and Cancellations
If you submit a refund request or job cancellation through the Site, then the other party will be notified about the request and will have 5 calendar days to either ‘Approve’ the request or file a Dispute Notice Form. Parties who opt to file a Dispute Notice Form will follow the existing Dispute Resolution Process as it currently exists.
For Jobs with Funds still In Escrow
If the Employer or Professional does not act on the request within the approval period of 5 calendar days, the refund or cancellation request will be approved automatically. If the Employer or Professional approves the request, or if the request is automatically approved, then funds in Escrow will return according to the request details. Vumero.com reserves the right to suspect that either the Employer or Professional account until the issue is resolved. Approved requests for funds already released or paid must be processed manually by Vumero.com. All such refunds will be made subject to the availability of funds in the Professional’s account, and processing such requests might take up to 10 business days. When funds have been paid to a Professional, Vumero.com will not debit a Professional account without authorization from the Professional.
Where appropriate, Employer or Professional agrees to pay a cancellation fee as follows:
- Credit card, PayPal: 3.5%
- Wire: $15.00 domestic, $25.00 international
- Snail mail: $1.00 domestic, $3.00 international
Please note that this fee only applies to physical refunds. No cancellation fee is charged, if the Employer elects to keep the funds in their account to spend later.
